My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.
Driving down a deserted road near Vestrahorn Iceland, we saw a mammoth snow covered mountain that we wanted to shoot. We parked on a muddy, snow-covered dirt road, strapped on our 40 pound packs, and started hiking to the mountain. After walking for about 30 minutes, we found ourselves in the middle of a raging snow storm. Three hours later, after trudging through knee deep snow and across ice cold streams, we realized that we were still at least 10 miles away from the mountain. We discussed our predicament and decided to head back to the truck. We hiked back in the blizzard for two more hours before the sun finally came out revealing a beautiful blue sky. We stopped and decided to shoot. We finally made it safely back to the truck. All things considered, it was quite a memorable adventure!
